Radiologist

Dr Hussain Amin is a Consultant Radiologist at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with specialist expertise in breast, oncological and general imaging. He works with patients who need expert diagnostic assessment across a broad range of conditions, combining advanced imaging techniques with a thorough and clinically informed approach to care.
Dr Amin qualified from Imperial College London School of Medicine in 2012. After completing his Foundation Training, he undertook core surgical training and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2015. He then gained further experience in urological surgery before transitioning into radiology, obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists while training in the London Deanery. This dual background in both surgery and radiology gives him a distinctive clinical perspective, allowing him to interpret imaging within a broader surgical and diagnostic context.
His breast imaging practice covers all modalities, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI and CT. He also performs a full range of ultrasound-guided and stereotactic breast procedures, including vacuum excision biopsies. Alongside his breast work, Dr Amin provides specialist oncological and general radiology services.
Dr Amin is committed to medical education and training. He serves as a medical examiner at University College London School of Medicine and is an accredited Educational Supervisor. He is responsible for training specialist registrars in breast imaging at UCLH. He has published and presented at international radiological and surgical conferences and has collaborated on national multicentre research projects. He speaks English and Arabic.
