Radiologist

Dr Trevor Gaunt is a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with specialist expertise in paediatric, oncological and fetal imaging. He works with children and families who need expert diagnostic assessment, combining advanced imaging techniques with the patience and attention to detail that paediatric cases require.
Dr Gaunt completed his radiology training in London, with fellowships at both Evelina London Children's Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This dual fellowship pathway gives him an exceptionally broad foundation in paediatric imaging across all modalities and clinical contexts.
He performs and interprets thousands of radiological examinations for children each year. His clinical work spans general paediatric radiology through to paediatric oncology within the proton beam therapy service at UCLH. He also has a specialist interest in complex prenatal imaging, working closely with the fetal medicine and surgery departments to provide advanced fetal MRI assessment.
Dr Gaunt holds an academic appointment as Honorary Associate Professor at the UCL Maternal and Fetal Medicine Department, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in prenatal imaging. He serves as an Associate Editor for the British Journal of Radiology and has published research in paediatric oncology imaging, prenatal imaging and related fields.
