How to get here from Regent’s Park
Harley Street runs almost to the park: from the southern gates you are eight minutes from the clinic, pram included.
From Park Square and the York Gate side, cross Marylebone Road at the lights, walk one block down Harley Street’s northern end, and the clinic is on the corner of Weymouth Street. It is the rare London medical appointment you can build a park morning around, scan first, swings after.
The NW1 terraces and mansion blocks around the park are exactly who this page is for: families booking pregnancy scans and children’s ultrasound, and residents who would rather walk down than travel in. Regent’s Park station on the Bakerloo line lands you the same eight minutes away.
Pushchairs are welcome and the building has no unmanageable steps, tell reception you are bringing one and you will be directed to the easiest entrance. Children’s appointments are booked with our consultant paediatric radiologist, with extra time so nothing is rushed.
On foot from the park gates, about 8 minutes
From Park Square East or York Gate, cross Marylebone Road at the pedestrian lights, head south down Harley Street, and the clinic is two blocks down at the Weymouth Street corner. Flat and pram-friendly the whole way.
From Regent’s Park station: about 8 minutes
Exit onto Marylebone Road, walk west two minutes, turn left down Harley Street. One road, no map needed.
From Great Portland Street station: about 7 minutes
Cross Marylebone Road, walk west, then down Harley Street, or via Weymouth Street if you prefer the quieter parallel.
By taxi: about 4 minutes from the Outer Circle
Ask for 99 Harley Street at the Weymouth Street corner. With a baby seat and a nap schedule, sometimes four minutes is the right answer. The clinic is inside the Congestion Charge zone.
Timing around a nap or a school pick-up? Call 0203 904 4441, reception times family appointments to the hour that actually works.

Why Regent’s Park comes to us
The households around Regent’s Park use us the way an earlier generation used the family doctor: pregnancy scans across all trimesters, children’s ultrasound with a consultant paediatric radiologist, and the grown-ups’ own checks, all eight minutes from the gates, with appointments that respect nap times and school runs.
Pregnancy, from six weeks to full term
Early reassurance, anomaly, growth and presentation scans with senior obstetric sonographers, partners and older siblings welcome in the room.
Children scanned by a children’s specialist
Paediatric appointments run longer, gentler and with a consultant paediatric radiologist, hips, tummies, necks and lumps, explained to you and to them.
Around family logistics
8am starts before school, Saturday mornings, pushchair-friendly access and same-day results, because a worried parent should not wait a fortnight for an answer.
What we scan
Browse by area of the body. Each hub lists every scan we offer, with one fixed price per page.
Searching from NW1: a private pregnancy scan near Regent’s Park, a baby hip ultrasound, a children’s scan that doesn’t mean a hospital trip? Harley Street Ultrasound Group covers every scan a family needs from one CQC-registered clinic at 99 Harley Street, eight minutes from the park gates.
That includes early pregnancy and anomaly scans, growth and presentation scans, children’s ultrasound with a consultant paediatric radiologist, plus the full adult range: pelvic and ovarian ultrasound, breast checks, thyroid and neck scans, abdominal ultrasound and musculoskeletal scanning for park runners’ knees and shoulders.
Every scan is performed or reported by a consultant radiologist or specialist sonographer, and the findings are explained before you leave, usually while the parking on the Outer Circle still has time on it.
What people around Regent’s Park search for
Popular from Regent’s Park
From first heartbeat to grazed-knee season, one fixed price each, consultant report included.
The pattern from the park is family-shaped: an early pregnancy scan booked with shaking hands, the twenty-week scan grandparents ask about, a toddler’s tummy ache that needs a proper look, and the parents’ own checks squeezed into a school morning.
Children are scanned by a consultant paediatric radiologist with unhurried appointments; pregnancy scans are performed by senior obstetric sonographers. If you are not sure which scan fits, call. A clinician will tell you honestly, including when the answer is “you don’t need one”.
Who scans you
Pregnancy scanning is led by senior obstetric sonographers; children are seen by a consultant paediatric radiologist from UCLH, one of London’s great children’s imaging departments, and the adult team holds NHS consultant posts across the teaching hospitals. Hover over a name for background.
All doctors are GMC-registered and all sonographers HCPC-registered. Meet the whole team →

Anything else? Call 0203 904 4441, a real person answers, and a clinician can call you back.
99 Harley Street, London W1G 6AQ, at the corner of Weymouth Street, two blocks south of Marylebone Road. Harley Street begins almost at the park: from Park Square you simply cross Marylebone Road and walk down.
The pram-friendly route and all the alternatives are set out above, next to the live map.
About eight minutes from Park Square or York Gate, crossing Marylebone Road at the lights. From the Inner Circle or the boating lake side, allow fifteen; from Primrose Hill, about twenty-five or a short taxi.
It is flat the whole way, genuinely doable with a pushchair, a toddler on a scooter, or both.
Yes: parents often have no choice, and we plan for it: pushchairs come in, reception will happily hold a coffee-shop-level of chaos, and scan rooms fit a pram beside the couch.
For your own peace during a longer scan, a second adult is the better answer, but a baby in the room is never a problem.
A consultant paediatric radiologist: a doctor whose entire specialty is children’s imaging, from baby hips and tummies to necks and soft lumps. Children’s appointments are booked longer so nothing is rushed, and everything is explained to you and, age permitting, to them.
That is the difference between a children’s scan and a scan that happens to be of a child.
No: you can book any pregnancy scan directly, from a six-week reassurance scan to growth and presentation scans late on. Your NHS midwife care continues unchanged; our report simply travels with you, and many NW1 parents share it at their next appointment.
If anything on a scan needs NHS follow-up, we say so clearly and write it down.
Often, yes: same-day and next-day slots run across most scan types on weekdays. For the anxious-parent scans: a child’s lump, early pregnancy bleeding, tell reception when you call: those are exactly the appointments we move things around for.
Call 0203 904 4441; availability changes through the morning.
Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 8am to 6pm. Families use the edges: 8am before school, late afternoon after pick-up, and Saturday mornings when the park trip can absorb the rest of the day.
Pregnancy scans in the evening slots mean working partners actually make it.
Regent’s Park on the Bakerloo line and Great Portland Street (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan) are both seven to eight minutes’ walk; Baker Street’s five lines are nine minutes.
From the park itself, walking wins. You are closer to the clinic than to most of the stations.
Pay-by-phone bays sit on Weymouth Street and the surrounding streets, and the Q-Park Harley Street car park is a few minutes away. The clinic is inside the Congestion Charge zone on weekdays.
Honestly though: from NW1, the walk down is usually quicker than parking, and there is nowhere to circle with a sleeping baby quite like the Outer Circle.
No: one clinic, at 99 Harley Street, eight minutes from the park gates. Keeping everything at one address is why the same consultant paediatric radiologist, the same obstetric sonographers and the same equipment are there every time you come.
For St John’s Wood specifically, see the dedicated page. The Jubilee line makes it one stop.
The findings are explained in the room before you leave, for children’s scans, with the reassurance delivered at child height too, and the written consultant report is on your secure portal the same day.
Anything that needs follow-up comes with a plain-English plan: what, why, who and how soon.
Fixed, published prices: early pregnancy scans from £160, most diagnostic ultrasounds £250–£350, children’s scans priced per study on their pages, always including the specialist’s time and the written consultant report.
All major private insurers are welcome; bring your authorisation number when you book.
We ask you to book first, even if that is a phone call from Regent’s Park ten minutes before you set off: it means a consultant and a room are ready for you rather than a wait. Same-day slots are released through the morning, so call 0203 904 4441, tell us what you need, and reception will usually find you a time that day.
A consultant radiologist, a doctor who specialises in imaging, or a senior specialist sonographer for pregnancy and gynaecological scans, never a trainee. The person holding the probe explains what they see as they scan, so you leave Regent’s Park-bound already knowing the findings, and the written report is theirs too.
Every scan on this website is at 99 Harley Street, so from Regent’s Park you have one address for pregnancy scans, breast ultrasound and the breast clinic, pelvic and gynaecological scans, thyroid and neck scans, abdominal and kidney scans, joint and sports injury scans, ultrasound-guided injections, and children’s scans. Each has one page and one fixed price; use the search at the top of the page or call us.
NHS waits for a routine ultrasound vary from a few weeks to several months depending on the hospital and the urgency your GP assigns. Here, same-day and next-day appointments are usually available, the findings are explained before you leave, and the report is on your portal the same day. From Regent’s Park that means a worry can be answered the day you decide to act on it.
