How to get here from Soho
Soho to Harley Street is one diagonal across the top of Oxford Circus, 23 minutes on foot from the Square, seven by cab, and quicker than most lunch queues on Berwick Street either way.
The simplest line: from Soho Square, out the top via Rathbone Place or up Great Chapel Street, west along Mortimer Street past the old Middlesex Hospital site, across Cavendish Square, and up Harley Street to the Weymouth Street corner. You swap Soho’s density for Marylebone’s hush inside five minutes.
Soho’s working day is exactly what our diary is built for: post-production, hospitality and agency shifts that don’t fit a 9-to-5 clinic. The 8am slots catch people before a shoot; the 7pm slots catch the ones who wrapped late; Saturdays catch everyone else.
And because Soho asks: yes, everything here is genuinely confidential, from testicular scans to anything else you would rather not discuss at work, one fixed price, a specialist in the room, and a report that goes to you alone unless you say otherwise.
On foot from Soho Square: about 23 minutes
North out of the square, west along Mortimer Street, across Cavendish Square, then up Harley Street to number 99 at the Weymouth Street corner. One busy crossing at Oxford Street, then quiet all the way.
On foot from Carnaby Street: about 20 minutes
Up through Great Marlborough Street, across Oxford Circus, north up Regent Street’s quiet side to Cavendish Square, then Harley Street. Faster than it sounds: it is all straight lines.
From Oxford Circus station: about 11 minutes
Exit north, up Regent Street and John Lewis’s flank into Cavendish Square, then straight up Harley Street. If you are anywhere on the Victoria, Central or Bakerloo lines, this is your route.
By taxi: about 7 minutes
Ask for 99 Harley Street at the Weymouth Street corner, from Old Compton Street the fare is usually under £12. The clinic is inside the Congestion Charge zone if you drive.
Between sessions and cutting it fine? Call 0203 904 4441. If you are running ten minutes late from a job, reception would rather know than have you sprint Regent Street.

Why Soho comes to us
Soho’s work is physical in ways people forget, long standing shifts, heavy kit, desk marathons in dark rooms, and its schedule ignores office hours. So do we: early starts, 8pm finishes, Saturdays, and same-day appointments that fit between a morning session and an evening service.
The industry’s injuries
Shoulders from rigging and carrying, knees from years of standing service, wrists and elbows from edit desks, scanned dynamically, as you move, by musculoskeletal specialists.
Answers without a fuss
Testicular scans, pelvic scans, lumps checked discreetly, booked without a referral and explained the same visit, with the report to you alone.
Shift-proof scheduling
8am to 8pm weekdays and Saturdays to 6pm, plus same-day slots most weekdays, because hospitality and production diaries change hourly.
What we scan
Browse by area of the body. Each hub lists every scan we offer, with one fixed price per page.
Typed “private ultrasound near Soho” between takes, a shoulder scan in W1D, a testicular check you have been putting off, a pelvic scan without the waiting list? Harley Street Ultrasound Group covers every area of the body from one CQC-registered clinic at 99 Harley Street, a short walk above Oxford Circus, 23 minutes door to door from Soho Square.
The scans Soho actually books: shoulder, knee and wrist ultrasound for working bodies, testicular and pelvic scans answered discreetly, thyroid and neck lumps checked the same day, liver and abdominal scans after the industry’s livers have had a decade, and DVT checks after long-haul festival flights.
Every scan is performed or reported by a consultant radiologist or specialist sonographer, most take about twenty minutes, and you walk back down Regent Street knowing, not waiting.
What people around Soho search for
Popular from Soho
The scans Soho books most: no preparation needed for any of them.
A Soho booking usually starts with a shift pattern: “I can do 8am Tuesday or 6.45pm Thursday.” Both work. These appointments are twenty minutes each, need nothing beforehand, and end with the findings explained, so the answer travels back to work with you.
One fixed price per scan with the consultant report included, and a clinician on the phone if you want advice before booking, particularly worth it for MSK scans, where the right test depends on what your body actually does all day.
Who scans you
The consultants at 99 Harley Street hold NHS posts at UCLH, King’s and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, including musculoskeletal radiologists who spend their hospital weeks on exactly the shoulders, knees and tendons Soho brings in. Hover over a name for background.

What patients say
“Welcoming and efficient check in. Support staff explained the process. The Doctor likewise, put us at rest and provided a running commentary on the scan as the procedure developed. Very punctual and the overall impressions that the staff cared and pro actively communicated. Recommend.”
“Staff are brilliant and really helpful - 100% would recommend!”
“Easy booking very professional service and quick turnaround on the full report”

99 Harley Street, London W1G 6AQ, at the Weymouth Street corner, in the medical district just north of Cavendish Square. From Soho you cross Oxford Street once and the city goes quiet: Mortimer Street, Cavendish Square, then straight up Harley Street.
Full routes with honest minutes are above, next to the live map.
About 23 minutes on foot from Soho Square, 20 from Carnaby Street, or 11 from Oxford Circus station. The map above shows Google’s recommended line. A taxi from Old Compton Street runs about seven minutes.
From anywhere in W1D or W1F, count it as “back before anyone notices you left”.
That is most of our Soho diary: a 20-minute scan at 8am before a shoot, at 2pm between services, or at 7pm after the edit. You are seen at your booked time and the findings are explained in the room, so no follow-up appointment eats a second day.
If a job overruns, call: reshuffling ten minutes is easier than you rebooking a week out.
No: book directly, online or by phone. Half of Soho is not registered with a GP within a postcode of where they actually live anyway; this route skips all of that.
Where a scan needs a clinical conversation first, it happens inside the same booking, not as a separate hurdle.
Often, yes: same-day and next-day slots run across most scan types on weekdays, and Soho’s proximity makes them usable: call at 10, scan at 1, back for the afternoon.
Call 0203 904 4441 for today’s list; it moves through the morning.
Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm, deliberately wider than office hours, because Soho’s day starts late and ends later.
The 8am and post-6pm slots are the quietest in the building, if you would rather come and go without a crowd.
Oxford Circus: Victoria, Central and Bakerloo: is the natural one: eleven minutes’ walk from the clinic up the quiet side of Regent Street. Tottenham Court Road works too via Goodge Street’s end of Mortimer Street.
From inside Soho itself, walking beats any of it: a train rarely beats the walk once you count the escalators.
Completely, and you are not the first to ask. An unmarked Georgian building among fifty like it, appointments that run to time so waiting rooms stay near-empty, and a report that goes to your portal alone. Nobody is told anything without your written consent, not your employer, not your GP, no one.
Book under a mobile number and an email; that is all we need.
No: one clinic, at 99 Harley Street, twenty-odd minutes’ walk north. Soho gets many things right; diagnostic imaging suites are not among them, and honestly the walk out of the noise is part of the appointment.
One address is also why the same specialists and equipment meet you every time. This page just proves how close that address is.
No. Half of medicine is people arriving later than they meant to, and Soho’s work culture makes it easier than most places to put things off. You will get an honest scan, an honest explanation and a plan, not a lecture.
The only bad time to check a symptom is later than today.
The specialist explains the findings while you are on the couch, before you have your jacket back on, and the written consultant report is on your secure portal the same day.
Anything needing action comes with the next step arranged: referral letter, guided injection, or reassurance in writing.
One fixed price per scan, published before you book: from £160, with most diagnostic ultrasounds £250–£350 including the consultant report. No memberships, no extras on the day.
Insurers are welcome: bring your authorisation number, but most Soho patients simply pay directly and claim later if they can.
We ask you to book first, even if that is a phone call from Soho ten minutes before you set off: it means a consultant and a room are ready for you rather than a wait. Same-day slots are released through the morning, so call 0203 904 4441, tell us what you need, and reception will usually find you a time that day.
A consultant radiologist, a doctor who specialises in imaging, or a senior specialist sonographer for pregnancy and gynaecological scans, never a trainee. The person holding the probe explains what they see as they scan, so you leave Soho-bound already knowing the findings, and the written report is theirs too.
Every scan on this website is at 99 Harley Street, so from Soho you have one address for pregnancy scans, breast ultrasound and the breast clinic, pelvic and gynaecological scans, thyroid and neck scans, abdominal and kidney scans, joint and sports injury scans, ultrasound-guided injections, and children’s scans. Each has one page and one fixed price; use the search at the top of the page or call us.
NHS waits for a routine ultrasound vary from a few weeks to several months depending on the hospital and the urgency your GP assigns. Here, same-day and next-day appointments are usually available, the findings are explained before you leave, and the report is on your portal the same day. From Soho that means a worry can be answered the day you decide to act on it.
